@deeparocks@LefterisJP I guess I’ll come down on the side that would say we can do better. And not only that if we don’t do better, it’s gonna not turn out how we want it to turn out.
@deeparocks@LefterisJP I am and always have been one of the biggest supporters of Ethereum in the entire space if I have to say so myself. But… I don’t know how to finish this sentence.
It finally arrived!
Will dig into @tjayrush essays tonight.
I love seeing the thoughts of people I like and admire put to print.
The user owns the data or the whole thing was pointless.
"Seeing somebody using your project in the wild, that never gets old. That always motivates you. Hearing people as you're walking by saying "you should just use Infura for that" ...that stuff's really addictive."
Ep 05 with @egalano co-founder of @infura_io drops tomorrow
The Crypto Revolution Is Dead. Long Live The Revolution! by @loukerner https://t.co/Tzuv70dPa0
I'm not so sure: https://t.co/QTTdmbPTZU
I'd love your thoughts, Mr. Kerner.
My book is out. "You Say You Want a Revolution" — ten years of essays on Ethereum, governance, and the messy reality of building decentralized systems.

@shitterr1x@LefterisJP Calling this Web 3.0 betrayal (notwithstanding the subtitle) is nonsense. I kept the faith way longer and WAY deeper than nearly anyone in the space. Ask the people who know me. Clearly, you don't, and clearly, you didn't read it.
Earlier this year I was getting frustrated with Claude's charts, fed this book to claude and had it generate a Tufte skill. Instantly got simpler/more beautiful visualizations.

@apriori0x@trent_vanepps This is unfair. Between 2008 and 2012, I studied punctuation so closely that I knew exactly when and where and why to use not only the em-dash, but the en-dash, and the hyphen, and when to surround them with spaces and when not. AI sucks. That entire skill set--gone!
@kelvinfichter I've been toying with the idea that software engineering becomes a combination of storytelling (narrative) and technical specification. Yes. It's a strange idea.
