@Rainmaker1973 Physics says impossible. Would have to be a vacuum tunnel otherwise air resistance would prevent it from being even remotely possible. Second, show me any train that can even do 1/4 the necessary speed. Third, any mishap would be 100% fatal and damage the tunnel for months.
@poyrrazalpq Why is it when idiots post geometry problems, they don't draw them to the actual angles they indicate ... oh yeah, it's because they don't actually understand geometry. X should be 95 degrees because the other angles of the small adjacent triangle should be 60, 35 and 85.
@Amatadidy For those that have never been in a print shop. The paper is loaded by hand and pressed against the backstop. The foot controls the clamp. Both hands have to be on separate buttons for the knife to come down. It is actually very safe.
@onlyskypace You keep telling people the answer is not 3, but you are wrong, it is. Any non-zero ^0 = 1, now following PEDMAS, (1+1+1)^3 = 9. 9 / 3 = 3. PEDMAS means you have to solve the paragraph first, but the solution to the Paragraph requires solving the exponents before you add.
@TimelessTrvlr Have been to every city in your list, and they all have their charm, but no city is prettier than Seattle. Mountains everywhere, Rainier, Puget Sound.
@nickgerli1 Cherry picked stat & source. US Census shows population of Florida continuing to increase. It is possible that these cities lost population while the state increased, but you are selling panic, not facts.
@wikiwikiwik01@Simon_Ingari Automation stifles innovation. If people are not allowed to draw outside the lines, they can be "productive" all the way to obsolescence, both of their own role and the companies offerings. Anything that can be automated does not require a human in the near future.
@NbaAoc If today’s players played in the 80s they world be benched. If you could not score without traveling or double dribble you would be out of the league
@lisathebeauty1 There are costs that increase for landlords also. Utilities, labor, supplies, and of course taxes. Banning rent increases means you want unlivable slums.
@6Noyb@AndrewKolvet@USBornNRaised Raiding your bosses office is a bold move cotton. Furthermore, if true, the CIA must be disbanded immediately because they have no jurisdiction within the US to enforce any law.
@sciencegirl@JasonLaCanfora Cross Montana on a train, I have … it takes 24 hours and it’s only marginally less expensive in coach (no bed) than a flight
@allenanalysis A "one-time" tax would raise the same amount day one as over five years. Saying it would raise the money over five years is an admission that it is not a one time tax. Furthermore, if the tax is based on income, then it may fly, but if it is on unrealized cap gains its DOA.
