you don’t get to spend your days doing whatever feels easiest and then act personally offended when your life reflects it. there’s a consequence to the way you spend your time. eventually, the life you’ve been imagining has to compete with the life you’ve actually been creating. the world doesn’t owe you a better outcome because you had good intentions. but here’s the beautiful thing about that: you can change what you’re creating at any moment. you can start making different choices today and give yourself an entirely different future to look forward to.
I hope you do something with all that fire in your chest. there is so much of yourself you haven’t even had the chance to discover yet. things you could make, places you could go, ways you could surprise yourself that you can’t even imagine right now - and maybe none of it works out the way you pictured. maybe you spend years chasing something and end up somewhere completely different. but at least you were in there, getting your hands dirty, making a life instead of watching one pass by.
you’ve just gotta go for it. whatever it is you want to do, go do it. the world opens up for people who are decisive. life is active and you can’t spend your time sitting around waiting for something to happen. you have to make the move. you have to be actively involved in the overall satisfaction of your life.
