@TerenceFoy Hometown judge elected by hometown citizens issues temporary injunction for hometown university. Appeal will take longer than the season, effectively giving the university and player the desired outcome. Easy to see this one coming.
@22classy Depends upon the age group. Very young - let the drill and constraints do the talking. Middle school - need to offset the strong desire to “look good in front of friends” by defining “good”. Older - back to letting the drill speak.
FINAL
@CuseMLAX 9
Princeton 8
Game-clinching save from Lucas Bartlow with :27 left on Mark Marino, who scored on a sweep earlier in Q4. Bartlow had ~4 saves.
Ted Rawson’s finish from Jake Meyer proved to be the winner on a gorgeous passing sequence.
Army-Cuse starters next.
@LaxFilmRoom This year but what was the comparable impact in 2024 or 2023? Because decisions would have been made based on past performance at least as much so, if not more than, expectation of future performance.
Eric, I think you pose an interesting thought exercise. I’ll argue that the premise of the question takes a view that the current policy is an “America Only” policy versus an “America First” approach. It asks us to ponder a world where America disappears from the geopolitical stage.
I don’t believe that this is the administration’s intent nor does that put America First. A rebalancing of efforts, expenditures, ownership and responsibility does.
Milton Friedman’s quip about carelessness when governments spend other people’s money on people it doesn’t know applies. I think the world is safer and has less conflict when our allies have skin in the game.
@22classy Offensively: Recognizes when and where to initiate. Understands how to create space for others to play into. Loves the “one more.” Always visible doing the dirty work to win possessions - tough GB’s, run outs, riding.
@firstclasslax_ What makes a great lacrosse shooter? Hand speed? Rotational force? Release point? Deception? Accuracy? What type of shooting? Time and room? On the run? In tight finishing?
I believe the key is volume of shooting in all these forms. So small sided training, box, and constraints
@22classy Should be a replay official in a booth, with great monitors and perfect lighting, that can buzz the head referee to halt play and change or confirm a call. This would speed up the reviews.
Disparity in quality of video and whether a conference uses replay also needs resolution.

@TerenceFoy@natlaxfed @tl_natn @3dLacrosse@USA_Lacrosse I’ve long argued that the compromise was age-based for youth (thru 8th grade) and grad year for high school (9th thru 12+). Youth should be focused on development - best achieved in maturity normalized environment. HS club should be partly about recruiting classes
@QKessenich@WakeForest Would be a great addition. AQ for the ACC men and add to a tradition of success in non-football/basketball sports @ WF Would draw young men and women from rapidly growing Carolina and Atlanta lax markets. Might put pressure on GaTech & NC State to add
