I’m not a big softball guy but almost 50 games into the season Isa Torres is batting .590 with 14 homers and a 1.725 OPS.

She also set the NCAA record with 16 straight hits and has 0 errors in 127 chances as a SS. 🤯

Coaches’ body language matters too. Pouting, shaking your head and looking disappointed at your own players needs to be replaced by instruction, encouragement and maybe, just maybe a little cheering them on. ESPECIALLY early in the season.

Colorado WR Jimmy Horn was having a rough game, so Deion pulled him aside and gave him an important message.

He told Horn that his dad, who is in prison, was watching him play.

“He’s watching you right now. He wants to clap in front of all his different inmates because he believes in his son. We gonna make pops proud tonight. That’s what we gonna do, because his son is a DAWG.”

Goosebumps. Jimmy Horn went on to catch the game-tying touchdown.
