Springtime and calves are coming. We’re expecting 20-25 full blood Wagyu calves in 2024. A good time to reflect to 2019 when the first 4 got our herd started.

It would be hard to post the bumps without knowing we’re back on the right track. Significantly better marbling on the most recent animals. Always room for improvement but we’re committed to a premium product that customers can rely on!

Riding Mountain Wagyu has been built from scratch and there has been a steep learning curve. Recently we butchered and marketed late castrated animals and learned that testosterone turns well marbled Wagyu into venison. Lesson learned after some disappointment for us and potential customers. Now on to a steady supply of premium beef coming in the next 1-2 years! Follow along as we aim to provide a premium product to the prairies!
