Temperatures are trending well above normal mid-late next work week. Chances for precipitation will increase late in the week, with above normal precipitation slightly favored now for days 6-10. #ilwx

@ratcliffest I got it off a publication the Memorial Stadium Fund committee published with irregular frequency during the fundraising and construction. Publication is available at the UI Archives. They'd like you to put your request in writing so they can pull the collection.
Happy 100th birthday, University of Illinois Memorial Stadium. The first game to be played at the unfinished stadium was a 7-0 win over the University of Chicago, the lone touchdown by Red Grange. Illinois won the mythical national championship that year.
Looks like Champaign-Urbana's first frost of the season will be Monday morning, with a forecast low of 30 degrees. The last frost was on April 24 (27 degrees) which makes for a 188-day growing season, just about average.
@rfhirschfeld@USACEHQ While you're at it see what you can do about a Red Line extension to C-U. There's just enough space between eastbound and westbound lanes of I-74 west of Prospect for the CTA to add service to Prospect Avenue. A $2.50 fare to Wrigley Field from C-U would be the best bargain ever.
