๐งต 1/ @OpenAI marketed GPT-5 as its "most capable writing collaborator yet."
@sama later admitted they "screwed up" the writing.
I spent months testing whether this was fixed. 100,000+ API calls across every GPT-5 release.
It hasn't been. It's gotten weirder. โ
After a long pause, here is what I composed the other day. If you are interested into lyrics and the side of the story that we never listen to, check it out. If you are not interest, check it out nonetheless!!! โฌ๏ธ

Just presented my work on narrative perspectives of minor characters in the apocryphal Acts of Pilate for the second time at #AARSBL25. Nice interactions and chats.
@EarlyNarratives
For the early wakers and "whomever it may concern", I am presenting tomorrow (that's 23rd) first thing in the morning (09:00) my take on how to combine fan fiction, narrative perspectives, Apocrypha and New Testament in the same paper!
#AARSBL25
Insider tip for #aarsbl25 participants: Tomorrow (Saturday) at 6pm until late, weโre meeting at the CitizenM Back Bay hotel bar on the second floor - plenty of space and low noise. The unofficial SBL gathering for anyone interested in the Roman Empire and Early Christianity will convene. Everyone is very welcome - bring friends.

Right before #AARSBL2025 I presented in Cairo a side project about AI driven translations in Pontiac Greek dialect for a Master's degree with the @HellenicBibles. Perhaps it's the the most diverse team that I've ever worked with. Now, on to Boston!!!

What a way to conclude #snts2025 seminars with a presentation on social cognition and its importance in understanding apocalyptic narratives by Christopher A. Porter. But the real question is: can we say that penguins and ostriches are considered birds?!
Great start for #snts2025 main course with a presentation by @JanRueggemeier and @LizzieShively on cognitive narratology. Looks really promising so far...
Yesterday, I had an amazing and in-depth meeting with @JanRueggemeier here at the @EarlyNarratives project at @LMU_Muenchen talking about perspectives in the narrative of the apocryphal Acts of Pilate and contemporary theories and methods in narratology.
It's been a while since I presented at the Logos workshop at Oxford, organised by SCIO in association with the @museumofBible. Probably the most unique presentation of my PhD project in @EarlyNarratives both due to the set-up (post dinner) and the workshop's friendly environment!
Ten PAID PhD POSITIONS!
The โInternational Doctoral Program Philologyโ at the @LMU_Muenchen just announced ten paid PhD positions on topics related to premodern philology.
This also includes work on the BIBLE! Our research group on @EarlyNarratives (including @ellenhoward5554 and @TKantartzis) is also associated with this institution. @LorenStuckenbru and I are among the PIs.
The IDP Philology is funded by the Elite Network of Bavaria (@researchbavaria), which aims at attracting excellent researchers from around the world to Bavaria, and has established itself as a leading international research hub for interdisciplinary research on philological matters.
Reach out if you have questions.
