In Alberta, an IUD costs $500.
The pill costs $10,000 over a lifetime.
And vasectomies are free.
Personally, I don’t think that’s fair. https://t.co/xcQJFdWbIQ
Better healthcare means taking the cost burden off women:
$500 for an IUD
$10,000 for the pill over a lifetime
NO MORE.
I think we should provide universal coverage for birth control.
Who’s with me?
In the US a woman just told me she pays $800.00 a month for her medical insurance (senior with a few medical issues) This is what @fordnation wants for us. Just say NO! NO PUBLIC $$ to PRIVATE CARE
@jpandikiu@patgagnon_75 We are not talking about teachers. This is about the EAs who support teachers by assisting with special needs/different learning kids.
While MPs debate $650 for dental care for children under age 12 (in lower income families), here's what is covered by the Public Service Dental Care Plan, to which MPs and their kids belong (90% of most dental expenses and 50% of orthodontics).
I still can’t believe that Canadian Conservative MPs actually voted to deny basic dental care to kids from low-income families…especially when these same MPs receive tax-payer funded dental care themselves. It’s just so cruel.
I feel terribly for Justice Kavanaugh.
He tried to make a choice, namely where his body should be and what should be inside of it.
Then a small group of people unrelated to him showed up and made it impossible for him to make that choice.
…hey wait a minute!
Let’s get something out in the open. Poilievre isn’t just “flirting” with the extreme right, like he was a few years ago when we just started to notice, he’s one of them and he blatantly and openly supports them now. He believes its what Canada wants. With all its racism in tow.
