🚨 BREAKING: Montgomery, Alabama Shooting

Late Saturday night, downtown Montgomery turned into chaos when gunfire erupted near Bibb & Commerce Streets.

📌 14 people shot
📌 2 confirmed dead (including an adult woman)
📌 2 juveniles injured — one fighting for their life
📌 3 victims in critical condition, 9 others stable

Police Chief James Graboys called it a “mass shooting event.”
Lt. Tina McGriff confirmed detectives are actively reviewing surveillance video and witness accounts.

Authorities are urging anyone with information — no matter how small — to come forward to help bring those responsible to justice.

This is one of the deadliest nights Montgomery has seen in years.

3 killed, at least 8 others injured in shooting at a waterfront bar in North Carolina overnight.

The shooting adds to the growing list of bars, restaurants, shopping centers, schools and other venues in the US generally thought of as safe that have experienced gun violence.

There have been at least 320 mass shootings – with at least four people shot, not including the shooter – in the US so far this year, according to the Gun Violence Archive.
