Most of them are templatized. But the caselaw supporting specific conclusions based on the facts of the case are different much of the time. You're always looking for a case with closely analogous facts to support your conclusion. It's usually "I need a case that says XYZ" and good luck.
NASA posted an ARTEMIS II crew photograph that I think is one of the best I have seen. This is the continent of Antarctica.
The area around the continent is clear. This is the Southern Ocean that circles Antarctica. The cold air and water tend to rob the moisture in the air. No clouds.
In the middle left of the photo is the Antarctica Peninsula.
To the left of the peninsula is Tierra del Fuego. Continuing up the upper left of the photo is the Atlantic coast of South America.
The land mass in the lower right is probably New Zealand.
The threshold for being a Qualified Client (the "forgotten" wealth standard) is going UP.
QC status is sometimes a big bummer for GPs finding out that states have their own investment advisers rules.
If your fund/SPV is limited to Qualified Clients, this affects your investor base!
Another all-American Saturday winding down...I am wiped (in a good way).
Saturdays are my favorite because I get an equal mix of everything I love: work, exercise, quality time with the kids, quality time with my wife. By the end of the day I am spent, but it's spent for others, and that makes me happy.
I ran 12 miles through the backroads of Franklin, Tennessee early this morning. I think this may be on my list of best places to live. Beautiful scenery. Peaceful, open spaces. Quiet, but near a fun, lively city. Proximity to a major airport. Nice weather but still some seasons.
Marc is a stud. Excited to have him join the squad!

Biggest tell that someone is using AI-generated language? They copy + paste from AI into a Times New Roman font--and you get a bunch of "tick marks" instead of apostrophes. That, and the hallucinations.
@gabe_foran@TheKateBernal@MarshaBlackburn@boringcompany@elonmusk@grok So, the Boring Company should redesign the highways? How does voting against the tunnel, which is funded by private money, fix a public infrastructure problem? It's not like the project diverts public funds that would otherwise be used for infrastructure.
Can investors withdraw from a fund whenever? Well, no.
And the rules on withdrawals depend on whether the fund is closed or open-ended
