In the past week my young family has dealt with a serious family medical emergency overseas, purchasing a home, renovating said home, moving out of our rental, school ending, startup launching, single parenting - all at once.... it's super overwhelming, tbh.
This has to be one the most stressful times of life that I can think of. We're deeply in "the midlife squeeze" from all sides...
One of the only silver linings in all of this was that I jumped on the @openclaw bandwagon weeks ago - and now it's really paying dividends.
Since this all started to ramp up about 3 weeks ago, my wife and I have been able to have it coordinate all of this so much more efficiently across many emails, phone-calls, and planning docs - all driven by OpenClaw across timezones and via email and voice phone calls in English and Chinese.
I can't think of a time where a technology has so changed my life.
I can't recommend more strongly that you experiment with this yourself if you haven't already.
My personal set up is:
- Mac Mini M4 running:
- @openclaw (for personal) / @NousResearch Hermes Agent (for work)
- @OpenAI Pro subscription using GPT5.5 via Oauth for OpenClaw
- @twilio for phone number (domestic and international calls + SMS)
- @ElevenLabs for voice agent
- Gmail accounts via gog CLI
- @browser_use for well... browser use
- @fastdotio + Google Drive for documents, voice recordings, knowledge, and memory
I know there are people on here with much more elaborate configs, but if you need this I'm happy to share advice or setup tips.

The biggest alpha leak of 2026 is that you can tokenmax $10k/mo with OpenClaw/Hermes + GBrain and get the AI that everyone will have in 2028 for $100/mo, but you can get it now, and that is the biggest single unlock you can have vs your competition
This is crazy. The hacker installed a dead-man's switch that will wipe your computer if you revoke the GitHub token they stole from you. Revoking the token is what triggers the wipe.
Family friend in the USA has a relative in Taiwan who needs to find a long-term care center. The problem is that an available room in these places is extremely hard to come by and you have to call them to find out.
Is there a technology solution that would make automating calling these places feasible?
Flywing has developed the X-WING, a compact VTOL FPV aircraft that combines vertical takeoff with fast fixed-wing flight.
It can take off vertically, hover, and switch to forward flight with a single command for smooth and stable performance.
With long flight time and a foldable design, it blends the advantages of both drones and airplanes.
@tmaiaroto That’s really cool Tom. I’m gonna try it out today. I’m wondering if you see any synergy with @fastdotio or see if there’s any way to integrate a cloud option with your memory system based on it? “Company brain” is one of the themes were exploring with our product.
@mrramibanna This is bad-ass. How do we get @fastdotio added to that list of providers? We already let agents signup and provision their own cloud storage and agent-workspaces via web, MCP, and CLI, and we're big Stripe fans/customers too :)
@bentossell Would love to know how you think it compares to @fastdotio - just had a customer upload ~17k files which were also automatically ingested into RAG for them.
Today’s tech earnings are meaningless. An F5 AI tornado is about to touch down and investors are fixated on next quarter guidance, margin noise, and CapEx timing
