@gbman84@BeresfordPeter For many this means going to work to pay for child care or it being supported by the benefits system anyway. Lack of acknowledgement of what it takes to bring up a child is such a backward step - especially for women, who are still the primary carers.
@fesshole Should have put in an equal pay claim for a salary rise and back pay. Given your response maybe you are being paid what the company thinks you are worth.
@BBCNews Apart from how ludicrous this is for private / low income individuals, the amount of tax collected is highly unlikely to come anywhere the cost of administering the process - shame on you HMRC when many millionaires and billionaires get away with paying so little tax.
