It isn't that Laken Riley's life was more important, per se, than others that have been cut tragically short. We see, though, how her light shined bright and joyful as an icon of the All American Girl. Let this tragedy ignite action that demands change. American Lives Matter.
Laken Riley should still be alive.
She should be studying for school this week. Preparing for spring and making plans with her friends and family.
She shouldn't be dead. She shouldn't have had her life cut short.
Washington DC has blood on its hands.

At 13 years old, Alena Analeigh McQuarter became the youngest Black student ever accepted into a U.S. medical school. Now 17, she had already graduated high school at age 12, earned a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences, interned at NASA, and founded The Brown STEM Girl — an organization dedicated to encouraging young people in science, technology, engineering, and math.
Her remarkable achievements demonstrate the power of discipline, hard work, and intellectual curiosity. In a country that rewards merit and determination, nothing — not even age — can stand in the way of someone truly committed to excellence. Stories like Alena’s remind us that the future belongs to those who prepare for it through personal responsibility and relentless effort. #PersonalResponsibility #MeritMatters #HardWorkPaysOff #AmericanDream #STEMEducation #DisciplineEqualsFreedom #IndividualExcellence #FutureLeaders #EducationMatters #InspiringAchievement
There is no crime on earth more evil than harming a child.
Monsters who r*pe children do not deserve to live.
This is exactly why we introduced the Death Penalty for Child Rapists Act.
End of story.
We are thankful for our partnership with Hendrick Automotive Group who are helping @SamaritansPurse replace vehicles for families who lost theirs to flooding in western Michigan. Watch…

I wish our courageous #ChildhoodCancer warriors received the attention, resources & hope they so desperately deserve. These Children fight battles most adults couldn’t imagine. Please shine a brighter light on them & stand with their families. 💔🙏
Stepping back, both of these young men had potential. Both were good students and captains of their football teams. One, though, was apparently raised in a wanting home environment. And now he is guilty of taking the other's life. Parents, we must resolve to put our children's futures before the ghosts of our past. Endeavor to learn and teach balance and forgiveness, and all of society will be lifted.
Bingo.
If there’s one silver lining to Spencer Pratt’s election being stolen, it’s that even Democrats now see how rigged our elections are in blue cities.
There were plenty of moderate Democrats in LA who voted for Pratt b/c they don’t want their cities burning to the ground.
And they will never forget how their votes were stolen.
Obama’s ICE Chief got a Presidential Award for removing almost 1 MILLION illegal aliens.
Trump's ICE Chief got called a Nazi for doing the same thing.
Y'all wanna know what's funny?
It is the same person!!
Meet Tom Homan
Martha MacCallum: "Would there be a place for Spencer Pratt in a Hilton governor's administration?"
Hilton: "I would be honored to have him in any kind of role, particularly focused on the areas he spent so much time looking into and developing positive plans for, notably homelessness."
Black pilot, West Point graduate, and combat veteran Wesley Hunt delivered a masterclass response:
“Hey Jasmine… Black pilot here.
I graduated from West Point. I went through Army flight school. I learned to fly the AH-64 Apache. I deployed to combat and flew 55 combat missions over Baghdad.
Nobody handed me a cockpit because of my skin color. Nobody lowered the standards for me.
Suggesting that Black pilots, engineers, doctors, or leaders need special preferences to succeed is not empowering, it’s insulting.
I didn’t want a different standard. I wanted the same standard.”
He ended with a powerful line:
“Merit isn’t racist. Excellence isn’t discriminatory. And reducing every achievement to skin color says far more about your worldview than it does about mine.”
This is the kind of clarity and backbone America needs right now.
