Xcel Energy customers could be billed $100 million to make sure electricity keeps flowing in the summer if regulators OK the company's plan to shore up its power on the grid in the short term. Attorney Phil Weiser, Senator Julie Gonzales, and Michael Bennet, all support Xcel energy’s price gouging. #colorado
You literally can’t make this up
Connecticut Democrats created a meals and beverage tax promising the money would go to the cities and towns
It raised over $500 million and NONE of the money was given back to the municipalities where it was collected
Democrats stole it all and put it into the general fund
“That extra 1% tax has gone back to the general fund since 2019, generating over $500 million. But that wasn't the original intent. The money was supposed to go to the city or town where the tax was generated — It's money that you know is generated inside our local economies, but it's sent straight to the state's general fund. Our towns get nothing”
@MileHighReport My dad had season tickets in the 70's and 80's. First game at mile high was probably in 73 or 74. Not sure who it was against but I've been a Bronco fan since. Did get to go to the AFC Championship against the Raiders in 77. Good times
💯 need this, if only to implement term limits and get rid of lifetime benefits for someone who does a job for 5 years. And no special perks, and ban insider trading. I think 20 states are signed up now, need 18 more!!
“I served this country. I paid taxes for 30 YEARS. What did I even fight to protect?”
After watching corruption get exposed in public — endless hearings, excuses, investigations that go nowhere.
“They protect the system. We pay the price — and the country is ALWAYS worse off.”
Democrats say they want affordability, but do they? By removing residential heating from the carbon emissions equation, which only accounts for 6.4%, this would save Coloradans a substantial amount of money so that they don't have to choose between feeding their families and heating their homes. Rushing the process of this green energy push is putting financial strain on households and the people should always have a choice.
Colorado, if heating your home affordably is important to you, please testify in favor of my bill HB26-1129, Gas Utility Services. This bill eliminates carbon emissions from natural gas heating in residential from the equation for the green energy push to ensure residents are not required to use electric heating.

Massie the RINOTraitorcrat
Somebody call the zoo, we have a RINO on the loose! @RepThomasMassie is very bad, so much bad! Bad! Grandstanding and bad and also bad.
Why would he actually do stuff for our nation, absolute insanity! Why isn't he supporting the current thing!?
If only we knew what he was actually grandstanding against. Must be something really good probably! He can't be trusted. Let's see why he stood alone, again.
Must be because of how bad he is! He is standing and also he is grand. Grand and stand and bad and also everyone said so.
Why would he put us first? No, Thomas, no!
We should be last, why aren't you being a team player? Shucks! We need pork! Porky pork pork pork. Kick him out! I heard his wife is also bad! Other guy good! Current thing current thing!
We should build a wall around our welfare system. Taxpayer money isn’t charity. I voted NO on more refugee welfare and pushed to cut waste. If we can’t cut $5B, we’ll never balance a $2T deficit. @CarlHigbie.
For every touchdown that Stiddy throws today I’ll give away one of these https://t.co/OClGdKgSbA Orange footballs to someone that Likes & Retweets this.
