I had a very good meeting with @alexstubb. As always, many details and our coordination. Naturally, we discussed the need for air defense and ways to meet it. I thanked Finland for all its support, and we discussed the joint steps we can take in the near future to strengthen our position – both in diplomacy and in defense. In particular, we discussed preparations for a Drone Deal agreement and possible dates for its signing.
Alex shared details of his communication with representatives of other countries that could be important for bringing the war to an end. We agreed to keep coordinating to achieve the results our countries and Europe truly need. Thank you!
@PPuolitaival@samifian Niin, sananvapaus ja kirjesalaisuus on melko perustavan laadun oikeuksia. Niillä on menty ennen EUta, ja EUn ulkopuolella demokratioissa mennään yhä. Mutta täällä niistä on näemmä monet valmiita luopumaan.
BREAKING:
Shooting for the Stars: secret military documents we obtained show China fully involved with supporting Russian war in Ukraine and plans against the West, even offered a contingency plan to shoot down @elonmusk's Starlink. https://t.co/uFfZtB7jde
@SaarniTuomo Tämä kokoomuslaisten toiminta viime viikkoina ja kuukausina näkyykin puolueen kannatuksessa. Vihervasemmistolaista byrokratiaa ja valvontaa.
@Jrvinen_J Tämä on kuin nykyisen hallituksen touhu. Kansainväliset rikollisorganisaatiot ja pääasiassa ulkomaalaistaustaiset jengit tekee rikoksia, kavennetaan sananvapautta ja yksilönoikeuksia suomalaisilta. Valitettavasti pääasiassa @persut toimesta.
UEFA is refusing to readmit Russia, which means that, for the time being, there will be no Russian clubs in the Champions League and no national team in Euro 2028 or World Cup 2030 (since the qualifiers are held by UEFA).
England, Germany and France are steadfastly against. ✊
@michaeldweiss@huibmodderkolk I mean, I could see it! I wrote about the certainty of full scale invasion 8 weeks before it started. And it wasn't clairvoyance, how the heck did they miss it so badly?
Venäläinen hävittäjälentokone yrittää tuhota Ukrainan meridroonia, epäonnistuen sekä pommeilla että tykillä, ennen kuin drooni osuu varjolaivaston tankkeriin.
‼️‼️🇺🇦🇷🇺🚤 Footage has emerged of a Russian Su-30SM fighter jet desperately trying to sink a Ukrainian maritime drone (USV) in the Black Sea.
The pilot is seen dumping unguided bombs and switching to the onboard cannon in a frantic, last-ditch effort to stop the drone from reaching its target—a Russian tanker. It’s a surreal visual: a multi-million-dollar fighter jet forced to play "whack-a-mole" against a low-cost, expendable drone in open water.
This footage perfectly captures the changing geometry of naval warfare. Russia’s air superiority is being neutralized by the sheer asymmetry of Ukraine’s drone campaign. When a sophisticated Su-30SM is reduced to strafing an unmanned boat, it’s not just a tactical struggle; it’s a strategic admission that Russia has lost control of its own maritime backyard.
Ukraine is essentially baiting Russia into burning its expensive air force assets to counter cheap, mass-produced drones. If this keeps up, Russia won't just be losing tankers—they’ll be burning through their air crews and fuel just to stave off the inevitable.
