I had a very good meeting with @alexstubb. As always, many details and our coordination. Naturally, we discussed the need for air defense and ways to meet it. I thanked Finland for all its support, and we discussed the joint steps we can take in the near future to strengthen our position – both in diplomacy and in defense. In particular, we discussed preparations for a Drone Deal agreement and possible dates for its signing.

Alex shared details of his communication with representatives of other countries that could be important for bringing the war to an end. We agreed to keep coordinating to achieve the results our countries and Europe truly need. Thank you!

The pilot is seen dumping unguided bombs and switching to the onboard cannon in a frantic, last-ditch effort to stop the drone from reaching its target—a Russian tanker. It’s a surreal visual: a multi-million-dollar fighter jet forced to play "whack-a-mole" against a low-cost, expendable drone in open water.

​This footage perfectly captures the changing geometry of naval warfare. Russia’s air superiority is being neutralized by the sheer asymmetry of Ukraine’s drone campaign. When a sophisticated Su-30SM is reduced to strafing an unmanned boat, it’s not just a tactical struggle; it’s a strategic admission that Russia has lost control of its own maritime backyard.

Ukraine is essentially baiting Russia into burning its expensive air force assets to counter cheap, mass-produced drones. If this keeps up, Russia won't just be losing tankers—they’ll be burning through their air crews and fuel just to stave off the inevitable.
