@smedalen I feel the biggest constraint is the lack of time in the day and more expectations being put our our plates. How I have overcome it is by doing what I feel is best for my kids and what our team feels will be the best for their learning and engagement.

@NDLiteracy I have the students choose what they want to write about. I model the topic or skill we are working on and they ultimately choose the topics. They write wherever they are most comfortable

@NDLiteracy A3 I feel the most beneficial PD is when there are other teachers showing what they do in their classrooms. I love being able to see and hear how others are teaching the same material. These I feel are the easiest to go back to the classroom and implement. They’re more relevant.
