One of my strongest indicators of internal health has always been how I behave after a little too much alcohol.
There is a pattern I’ve noticed in myself with literally no exceptions.
When I’m unwell, stressed, inflamed, under-recovered or struggling with my health, alcohol tends to make me aggressive, irritable and generally obnoxious. Absolute crash out territory.
When I feel genuinely healthy, it is almost impossible for me to be anything other than cheerful, affectionate, silly and convinced I’m the funniest person in the room (the jury is still out on this one but I think I’m right;))
This has been one of the most consistent patterns of my adult life.
And the more I pay attention, the more I notice the same thing in other people.
its kind of hilarious how the healthier you get the more you just turn into an old person...
watching birds, going to bed at 9pm, waking up at 5am, not drinking or partying, reading books and staring at nature.
This is biblical.
A woman in her eighties. Ten years into Alzheimer's. Hadn't spoken a full sentence in five years.
Takes one, 5 gram dose of psilocybin.
She slept 19 hours and woke up and spoke for hours about her life, recognized family and held real conversations. She regained bladder control after five years, walked on her own. and dressed herself. Gains held for weeks.
American craft beer pioneer Samuel Adams is honoring the Founding Fathers by bringing back the Brewer Patriot Collection to celebrate the 250th anniversary of our independence. people 5 years ago: "I will never jab myself"
people today: "I will inject myself with synthetic peptide proteins manufactured in gray market chinese labs, full of undisclosed ingredients, for health!"

No one is more annoyed by the AI revolution than people who can actually write a sentence. Basically, having any ability to write now is suspect - you will get accused of being AI at some point. It feels like you are being accused of being a witch, of holding a type of rare magic that only the machines are now allowed to have.
i’m just gonna say it: some of yall aren’t qualified for self checkout. if you don’t have an internal sense of urgency and fine motor skills, leave it to the professionals cause the rest of us are trying to keep it pushin
🚨Update🚨The @FBI and Newark Field Office are currently investigating the sophisticated theft of 15 agricultural spray drones from a location in New Jersey. Reported in April 2026, the incident has raised national security concerns because these high-capacity machines can carry significant payloads. The theft is described as professional and coordinated.
These are not standard consumer drones; they are sophisticated agricultural sprayers capable of:
Carrying approximately roughly 10 gallons of liquid.
Flying autonomously via GPS-guided waypoints.
Covering large areas with precision in a single flight pattern.
the FBI are concerned about the potential for these drones to be used in "nightmare scenarios," including the delivery of hazardous materials.
This theft follows months of reports regarding mysterious, car-sized drones flying over northern New Jersey and areas near Picatinny Arsenal and Bedminster.
Did you ever study the Dewey decimal system and use the “card catalog index” to find a library book?
When you get a Real ID, they don’t ask for much information about you.
Real ID is your index card. They already have your book. They just need to unequivocally link YOU to IT.
Barrel up a ball right at someone?
Yeah, that sucks, but that’s how it goes sometimes.
Bloop one over the 2nd baseman for a hit?
Yeah, not ideal, but that’s how it goes sometimes.
Crush one that should’ve been way out, but the stupid wind pushed it back in for a fly out?
Yeah, that sucks, but that’s how it goes sometimes.
Get fooled on a pitch and roll one over in the 6 hole for an infield hit?
Yeah, not ideal, but that’s how it goes sometimes.

Don’t get emotionally too high or too low, the game usually evens itself out.
Sometimes you smash, but get bad results,
Sometimes you suck, but get great results.
THAT’S HOW IT GOES SOMETIMES!
