5 Reasons Why Maresca is in Trouble:
Disclosure: I like Maresca very much and I want him to succeed. But he has made FIVE big mistakes.
1. Playing a 5-3-1 (5 defenders, 3 midfielders, 1 striker) christmas tree formation instead of the obvious 4-4-1 when Sanchez got the red against United. It was cowardly, deflating, and it embarrassed the club.
2. Chelsea has tried, and is STILL trying to sell Chalobah and George. Why in the hell are you playing these players? They are not only surplus to requirements, they aren't good! How can you not see this????
3. Playing George and Chalobah over players like Garnacho, Gittens, Guiu, and Bounanotte (as well as loaning Anselmino) is a slap in the face to the Technical Directors that have bought you countless good players. I cannot imagine they are happy with this ....
4. You are talking shit in the media about what OTHER clubs did this summer (specifically Liverpool), what Chelsea DID NOT DO, and how you still want more players. Buddy ..... read the room. You were hired from the second division to manage one of the biggest clubs in the world. Self-awareness is a skill and a talent; you should try cultivating it.
5. You are all the sudden not getting results. Everything is forgiven when the results are there. Arrogance in public can be forgiven. Media rows can be forgiven. Banishing players can be forgiven. Even criticizing the Sporting Directors can be forgiven .... as long as you win. The second you do not, it is open season and you are fair game.
I hope you either figure it out, or stop talking so much. Because if you do not, there is only one ending to this story. Chelsea will move on without hesitation.

๐จ๐ Alejandro Garnacho has arrived in London as Chelsea and Manchester United have signed all documents.
The deal is completed club to club for ยฃ40m plus 10% sell-on clause. ๐ฆ๐ท
Medical to follow then Garnacho will sign his seven year deal at Chelsea.
Chelsea needs not waste time on Frankfurt Ekit. Kudus is a better option. He is a powerful good dribblerย that can play in any position to attack. He is fast, young and proven. His presence will help Palmer also. I don't understand why Chelsea is not pursuing it.
