Let’s get some work in.

[Valdosta State Softball @VState_Softball]

Who needs a whole field… Who’s ready to practice? A little backpack blower can solve that problem. No turface, who cares! Let’s roll. Not for the love of the game but for the love of my girls!! #BlazeUp🔥

Make no mistake about it.
Travel ball recruiting is filthy and pitiful. It contributes to the transfer portal mindset.
Calling other organizations players is classless.
The ones doing it should not be trusted.
It's always the same clowns.
Players from those organizations lead the country in portal attendance.
NLB has never recruited a player from another organization. Yes, I said never.
We also don't utilize pick up position players. We have the same team every tournament. We're loyal to the players we start the season with.
We keep things in perspective and respect our opponents, their coaches, players and parents.

NLB American runs record to 2-0 at Perfect Game BCS.
NLB 2 Albany Paulies Academy 1
Outstanding pitching on display for both teams.

Drew Colon (Wicksburg HS) was matched up with PG 10 and Chipola signee Carlos Martinez on the mound. Colon was outstanding working 3.0 innings, scattering 1 hit, striking out 7, and not allowing a run or walk. Colon's outing ended because of a 2 plus hour weather delay. Martinez returned after the delay and threw over 100 pitches on the day. Sammy Roberts (Pace HS) earned the win. Roberts worked 2.2 innings, scattered 2 hits, allowed 1 run, struck out 1 and walked 2. Ty Macera (Lowndes HS) earned the save. Macera worked 1.1 innings and didn't allow a hit, run or walk and struck out 4. Madox Land (Tate HS), Macera, Roberts and Ian Swanson (Leon HS) collected hits. Land contributed an RBI.

NLB will continue pool play tomorrow.

Players
The things you post, like or comment on social media are a reflection of you, your parents and your teammates.
Colleges and MLB organizations employ people to monitor the posts, likes and comments of their recruits and players.
Don't kick your own ass by doing stupid shit on social media.

[Tana Macera @tmacera]

Proud is an understatement 💕

[Thomas Macera @29maddog]

1,000 wins is a huge milestone in my career but it wouldn’t have been possible without the 200+ players that have allowed me to coach them during my career. Very thankful for each & everyone of them and the part they’ve played to reach this accomplishment! Grateful & blessed!!

[Taylor Macera @taylormacera29]

Are you not entertained?! @VStateSoftball’s Jayme Prandine and Morgan Hill making @espn plays look easy. 🔥🔥🔥 @NCAA @NCAADII @GulfSouth

[Jamie Wachter @jlwachter]

With her 20th home run of the season today, Abby Sulte is now tied for sixth most in a @VStateSoftball season with herself (2023), Morgan Hill (2021), Courtney Albritton (2013) and Alyssa Shirey (2010).
