Live life by a few sets of rules
1-Don't hurt people w/ word or hand
2-Do what you say,keep promises
3-Don’t take what you haven’t earned
1-Learn from the past, don’t regret it
2-Manage the present-u must be in it to do so
3-Plan for the future
1-Love your kids-no matter what
Alcohol is poison. Calling red wine "healthy" doesn't change that. Every drink is toxic and affects your body, your judgment, and your relationships. The claim just 1 or 2 drinks is safe or even good for you is baseless and dangerous
5 realities to come to terms with
1-No response is a response
2-If they wanted to they would
3-Not everyone is capable of love or respect
4-People can change and are no longer the people you once knew and loved
5-People can change if they want to (takes immense self awareness)
If you're only looking for evidence that supports your narrative, you're not seeking the truth.
When you refuse to consider all sides of an issue, your perspective becomes limited, and your judgment on other issues is unlikely to be balanced.

@RayDalio trump has only 2 choices, boots on the ground and a full invasion and takeover or declare victory and pull out leaving everything as it was before. There is no predicting what he will do but if he TACOs Israel must keep fighting, They see this as their one and only chance
Mature minds think critically. They weigh evidence, fact-check, and consider circumstances before forming an opinion.
Immature minds often avoid the hard work required to think beyond emotion, assumption, or impulse.

One of the best lessons I learned came from my former sister-in-law: her (now ex) husband never matured past 25, despite being much older.
The more I look around , the more I see it—there are a lot of immature “adults” out there. Age doesn’t equal maturity.
I first read this post on PTJ by @trengriffin more than a decade ago, and it's a great complement to the episode.
It's a collection of lessons and quotes, and remains one of the best summaries of how Paul approaches trading and what separates him from everyone else.
Well worth reading (or revisiting).
1/ "The secret to being successful from a trading perspective is to have an indefatigable and an undying and unquenchable thirst for information and knowledge."
2/ "Don't be a hero. Don't have an ego. Always question yourself and your ability. Don't ever feel that you are very good. The second you do, you are dead."
3/ "While I spend a significant amount of my time on analytics and collecting fundamental information, at the end of the day, I am a slave to the tape and proud of it."
4/ "I love trading macro. If trading is like chess, then macro is like three-dimensional chess. It is just hard to find a great macro trader. When trading macro, you never have a complete information set or information edge the way analysts can have when trading individual securities."
5/ "I really don't care about the mistake I made three seconds ago in the market. What I care about is what I am going to do from the next moment on. I try to avoid any emotional attachment to a market."
6/ "I am always thinking about losing money as opposed to making money. At the end of the day, the most important thing is how good are you at risk control."
7/ "I want the guy who is not giving to panic, who is not going to be overly emotionally involved, but who is going to hurt when he loses. When he wins, he's going to have quiet confidence. But when he loses, he's gotta hurt."
8/ "I've done really well on the short side. There's nothing more exciting than a bear market. But it's not a wonderful way for long-term health and happiness."
9/ "The sweet spot is when you find something with a compelling valuation that is also just beginning to move up. That's every investor's dream."
My ex sister inlaw, remarkable woman, taught me a valuable lesson
Just because someone is adult doesn’t mean their thinking developed beyond adolescence.
A person can claim to be an adult yet still has a teenager’s mindset. More I’ve paid attention, more I see how common this is
@SPXTrades I strike an opening range on nya ym zn cl es nq vix and trade the direction but the vix doesnt agree sometimes on Fri and Mon likely due to expiration and settlment
Thinking is difficult, that's why most people judge
We suffer more in our imagination than in reality
It's never too late to be what you might have been
Our life is what our thoughts make it
