Part of why I wanted to create This Was SportsCenter: take you behind the scenes of some of the competition BETWEEN the anchors going on at the time. When Keith Olbermann left, it sparked an unofficial audition amongst the anchors to get the seat next to Dan Patrick. I talk about it with DP in this clip, with Stuart Scott and his legendary competitive nature taking center stage for both us…but in completely different ways.
In the inaugural episode of ‘This Was SportsCenter’, Dan Patrick joined the show and told the story of the role he had in the origin of the “This Is SportsCenter” series of commercials… and reveals to us which of his MANY appearances in these commercials was his favorite:
California…
Theres Hospice fraud but no voter fraud.
Theres Homeless fraud but no voter fraud.
Theres Medicaid fraud but no voter fraud.
Theres Welfare fraud but no voter fraud.
Theres major fraud everywhere but no voter fraud?
Thats what Legacy Media wants us to think.
@SeahawksHMA@hawkblogger@qdiggs6 I hope they do!! That would be amazing. We will have 400 yards rushing and the rams will get 5 possessions the entire game.
@Joe_Fann He’s got two problems. His fastball is really flat, and he has to much command. Batters know he’s always going to be in the strike zone thus making a comfortable at bat. Just my opinion.
@SNYGiants He is criticizing a guy for voting republican, while supporting a religion that is anti women’s right. What and absolute fucking moron. Sit this one out you dipshit.
@SeattleSports@TheMikeSalk You guys are treating him like he’s a god. He’s the worst SS in baseball, a career 230 hitter, has 73 home runs in 10 seasons. Hes the epitome of a below average player, and you guys are painting him like he’s a mariners HOF’er. Just stop.
