I’m still in denial that one of my favorite people is no longer with us. I’m absolutely gutted, words can’t describe how special Oliver was to so many people. Tragedy has taken life way too soon, with so much creativity and vibrance and talent. I’d like to think he’s on his next adventure somewhere in the universe. Horrible horrible horrible, I don’t even know how to process this. Rest in peace Lucas Vignale, Lucas Chaves, Gaspi & Oliver. Love you brother we are all going to miss you @Olivertree

They lost them all.
The Knicks trailed by 17 points with less than 9 minutes to go.
Entering today, teams were 0-96 when trailing by 17+ points in the final 9 minutes of regulation of a Finals game since 1970-71.
The Knicks have just made that 1-96.
The spirit, energy and vitality of NYC has developed into a main character during the Knicks' storybook run.
Fans have brought it to every road game. Atlanta, then Philadelphia and Cleveland, and finally to San Antonio.
Yet, the area in/around MSG has been the visceral epicenter of that enthusiasm, the primary power source, the beating heart of this magical playoff run.
Which is why it's so frustrating that, on the night die-hard Knicks fans have waited decades for, that space will be locked down and stripped of the very energy that made it special in the first place… all to accommodate one man.
City vibes are hard to explain right now. There’s a guy smoking a cigar and holding a broom and everyone is shaking his hand as if he’s an essential worker during the pandemic.
Do other animals freak out when they see Victor Wembanyama? Like if a horse who's seen a ton of people sees him, the horse is gonna be like hey what the fuck, right?
The NYPD ban on Knicks watch parties directly outside Madison Square Garden has been lifted for tonight, per SNY sources. The NYPD had previously banned watch parties in Plaza 33 during the ECF. But they’ve reversed the decision for Game 1 on Wednesday night. An MSG spokesperson confirmed that the Garden has applied for permits to host the Plaza 33 party tonight and those permits have been granted. The permit is solely for tonight’s Game 1. Status for future watch parties is TBD. The NYPD previously banned the watch parties outside MSG during the ECF against the Cavaliers for being too rowdy.
