@Joestar_sann I mean... a base Mac mini with 16-24gb is a fantastic machine (and a great value IMO), but it's not exactly a workhorse for larger models.
I have an M4 Mini Pro with 24gb, an M3 Ultra with 256gb, and Claude Max 20 sub. 🤷‍♂️

@dwhittemore I don’t think quality is the issue: 8 of the top 25 liberal arts schools, including the top 2 (Williams and Amherst).

Honestly it’s probably scale. All are under 2,000 enrollment.

@chrislhayes For tech, the answer is easy: way too aggressive hiring for the previous 2 years. Stupid money was thrown around and now there has to be tightening of belts.

On the other hand, hospitality in particular has started to rebound so jobs that were decimated are coming back.
