We’re starting a new teaching series this Sunday working through the false expectations we have of the church compared with the Gospel vision for the true community that Jesus calls us to.
This is for everyone who has had unmet expectations.
We’re continuing our series on “Twisted Truths” by looking at a sensitive and yet prominent issue in our culture today: Sexuality & Gender.
We will look not only at what the Bible says about it all but why the Bible says what it says.
Sunday at 10am
Ever since the Garden of Eden Satan has been manipulating God's Word and twisting His truth.
This Sunday we start a new series looking at some of these in the culture and what God really has to say about them.
We’re more technologically advanced than ever, and yet we still have the same brokenness. We have more solutions but the same problems.
That’s why we set our hope fully on the God-man, Jesus Christ! His death and resurrection is the down-payment for cosmic renewal!
The church is not an event or a program but a family.
Different backgrounds and preferences, styles and gifts, passions and personalities — all rallied around Jesus and His global and eternal Kingdom.
We can’t say it enough — Prayer Nights are so important! Last night our hearts were stirred as we read the Scriptures, confessed our sin and doubt and leaned in with faith to pray for God’s healing over one another.
Powerful. Beautiful.
This is the church.
This is our God.
This Sunday we are starting a 7 week journey through the book of Colossians! It is our aim that through this series our view of Jesus would expand greatly, leading us to radically & practically alter more of our lives around His Kingdom and calling!
Overwhelmed with gratitude. For every one thing I can complain about, there are 100 things I can praise God for.
May we never take His grace for granted @tmcelmhurst
How do we approach sharing the Gospel in this secular age?
We shift from trying to convince the mind with arguments to working to compel the heart with beauty.

This Sunday we saw that Jesus' ministry and mission often took place around the table with a good meal. As we reimagine what it looks like to live as missionaries, we can start with opening our homes to those outside of our circle of faith and friends.
When Jesus said "the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few" He was showing us that our greatest need isn't more ripe hearts but more ready hands. We get to answer the call to live as the "sent" people of God in this world!

We’re starting a new collection of teachings around the MISSION of GOD this Sunday! Jesus is active in this world and invites us to partner with Him & we’re going to take some time to learn what it looks like to live as people who are “sent” alongside some new practices!
What is the purpose of abiding in Christ?
How do we practically abide?
Tune in online or in-person at 10am to hear and receive the Word of God - it is life for your soul!
We’re setting up 2022 to make a daily practice of encountering God in the Scriptures! One chapter a day. Slowed down for meditation and formation.

Today we had the joy of handing out Christmas gifts and checks to 10 families in our city. We spent time praying with each of them and letting them know there is a community of people that love them and that God sees them.
Thank you for giving Movement family!
We're blown away. Look at God! We are so joyful to announce that to date we have raised together $55k for our Be Generous collection! Thank you for trusting God, loving your neighbor and storing up treasure in Heaven.
This Sunday we will be looking at the announcement of the angels to the shepherds; the good NEWS of great JOY for ALL people. Bring your Bibles and let's gather to worship the risen Jesus together as a family.
