Outside of 1st half of game 1, champagnie has done 0. (He wouldn’t even be in the Knicks rotation if he switched sides) Knicks feast when kornet is on the court. The spurs have 3 young stars, rest of the team is MID.

Any egregious call has been in favor of the spurs but Brunson was pretty sloppy with the ball yesterday. Way too many turnovers. 21-7 points off turnovers in favor of spurs. Knicks bench had a rough game too. Not often you can say the importance of a game 4, but feels like the winner will take the series.

Misleading stat. How many times did hart or bridges get stuck holding their dribble over the 3 point line and need to pass back to Brunson late in the shot clock. The spurs extended pressure D forcing Brunson to force things late in shot clock. Knicks need to play fast when Wemby is on court.

Imagine you’re playing a trading simulation game. There’s a parabolic rally in technology on an exciting new technology. The market is 3SD overweight infotech, and semis just did a 4SD rally, bigger than any semis rally in history. Now, a megatech company issues stock (after buying back stock for years), the largest IPO in history is on deck, momentum stalls, the Fed is going to hike (oops, we thought they were cutting), companies are worried about token costs, the biggest bitcoin and crypto bulls in the world are all selling, and a new Fed Chair is about to sit down and the market consensus is that he will be dovish despite roaring inflation and a strong U.S. jobs market.

Facebook ipo story. I was just getting into personal investing (despite being on a trading desk for 8 previous years) at the time and asked my advisor at Morgan Stanley to get into the ipo. He said only HNW (>500k clips). I was only looking for a few hundred shares so it was a no go. The night before the ipo, he called to say “good news, I was able to get you 200 shares”. I knew right then I was exit liquidity. Opened at 38, traded above 40. Closed around the ipo price at 38 because underwriters were on the bid. Traded straight down a day later. A tale as old as time.

Only thing I’d argue is your “some of the best public and private schools”. Simply isn’t true because the private schools are some of the best in the country and the public schools -especially middle schools- are completely lacking compared to the burbs. Main reason why more people don’t stay in nyc.
