"From my mom. [This is] going to be emotional. My mom said something really interesting, like, “With you starting to do well in your career that you always wanted to do,” she said, “I feel this massive weight lifted off of me or a sense of relief.” She feels that part of her purposes in life or her life’s journey or calling was to support me in this. Now that it’s gaining momentum, she said, “I feel this sense of relief for myself.” That made me cry."

"Dylan Walsh’s isn’t a main character on 'Heated Rivalry'so he wasn’t on set every day. Still he saw the commitment, the talent and the chemistry Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams showed. They stayed together all the time on set. 'They were funny. They had fun. They played a lot of games.'

Storrie was so committed to his character, Ilya, that he often spoke Russian while not shooting. And that scene at Shane’s parents’ house with the spaghetti, Connor really ate all that spaghetti, Walsh said. 'He kept eating,' he said. 'This is part of who he is as an actor. He’s all in. He made a choice. And we did so many scenes. He’s a great actor.' Williams and Storrie, he said, got this far on their own instincts and he sees great careers for them."

Connor Storrie talks about looking for Plan B's before HBO acquired the distribuiton rights of "Heated Rivalry" and how his life has changed.

"It's been crazy. I mean, before 'Heated Rivalry' even came out, I had no idea where it was going to land, before I knew it got on to HBO. So, I was... To be completely honest, I was already looking for like, new plan B's, you know? I was like, "Okay, what restaurant am I going to go to?" And then, over the course of the month, it's been completely uprooted. I mean, what feels good is just to get the opportunity to keep talking to people, and have more more opportunities to act, direct and write. Because that's kind of, at the end of the day, what we all really want."
