@lowcarbGP My triglycerides were 55! But then my hba1c came back 7.5….I was not fasting long enough for my glucose to come down…. After one week of testing blood glucose before eating I have a significant improvement….I eat carnivore, I was snacking too much of carnivore foods….
@robertlufkinmd I ate kale, chicken breast, rinsed my cooked ground meat with water and loved oatmeal and fiber... And ended up with diabetes, hbp, fatty liver, high triglyceride and damaged joints🥺
More evidence in support of my first two dietary pillars: 1. control carbs; 2. prioritize protein. This study finds that a high-protein, low-glycemic index diet results in better sustained and ongoing weight loss. https://t.co/0XaeuaS5B8
I just found out that @WebMD is a "strategic partner" of USDA. Partners agree to meetings w/ the USDA office in charge of the Dietary Guidelines and find ways to promote those guidelines.
How can WebMD do this and also be objective about nutrition science?
