Imagine getting so butthurt over someone calling for compassion and mercy that you want to have her deported.
Now imagine that person is in a position of power. Fucking pathetic
NEW: Man paid $900k for "psychological torture" after police forced him to give a false confession that he killed his father
This makes me so mad.
Investigators reportedly threatened to kill his dog, claimed his dad was dead & said they had evidence he killed him.
One problem: His dad was alive.
Thomas Perez Jr. called the police after his father went missing in Fontana, California.
Police brought him into the station where he was interrogated for 17 hours.
They told him that his father was dead and they had his body which was at the morgue with a toe tag.
Police tried convincing Perez that his mind was playing tricks on him and it was suppressing troubling memories like killing his dad.
They also brought his dog into the interrogation room so he could say bye to it as they threatened to euthanize it.
"How can you sit there, how can you sit there and say you don’t know what happened, and your dog is sitting there looking at you, knowing that you killed your dad? Look at your dog. She knows, because she was walking through all the blood," they said.
Perez eventually "confessed" and tried to kill himself by hanging in the interrogation room.
Perez's father eventually turned up alive. He had walked to the train station in Fontana and traveled to Los Angeles County to visit a relative.
He later went to the airport to fly to Oakland to visit his daughter before police found him.
The New York Islanders offer their condolences to the family and friends of former Islanders forward, Chris Simon.
Chris played two seasons with the Islanders (2006-07 and 2007-08). He epitomized what it means to be an Islander, someone who wore his heart on his sleeve both on the ice and in the community.
We are devastated to learn of Matthew Perry’s passing. He was a true gift to us all. Our heart goes out to his family, loved ones, and all of his fans.
“From playing my first game in the Isles sweater at 19 to my last at 33, it has been quite a ride.”
Josh Bailey says goodbye to the @NYIslanders. 💙🧡
