A lot of speculation as to why Ratcliffe is in Moscow, but you don't send the CIA director for low-level diplomacy.
The last time the CIA Director was in Russia was when Biden sent William Burns to tell Putin not to attack Ukraine. We all know how that turned out.
There is reported intel, collected by Latvia and echoed by Poland, suggesting Russia is looking to stage some sort of provocation against a NATO to test its resolve and force it to stop supporting Ukraine.
Of note, Ratcliffe's plane departed for Moscow from Latvia which is the source of the intel.
No answers yet obviously, but a lot to watch.
You were good girls and boys so you deserve Christmas sooner this year. I can't hold myself back any longer from sharing with you what's coming in the next few weeks on @hydration_net. I truly believe it will be the best savings product in the world and a game changer not just for us but for the whole of crypto. Big words, I know. You're asking how or why, for sure.
You might have noticed our pivot towards "looping" strategies last year, already. They became more sustainable, profitable, and cool by bringing top-notch RWAs into the mix. If we put aside people leaving crypto with their money, the never-ending chain of hacks has scared most survivors away. But even those who stayed as active on-chain users and are experienced enough often struggle to navigate their way through very complex products. Last but not least, if you want to juice these already complex products in order to squeeze as much value and productivity from your assets (e.g. borrow against your collateral and go generate additional yield with it), you have to increase risk so much it can kill you in the 1st or 2nd volatility event, I don't know many people who've been liquidated as much as me, lol. You can hedge your positions, but that turns it into an even more complex operation, becoming an absolute operational nightmare because of all the necessary hedging via derivatives and infrastructure setup.
Anyone who's spent time with me knows I try to apply first-principles thinking and not settle for the status quo. With all these issues in mind, I proposed a new feature with the codename "Propeller." You just deposit eligible collateral (e.g. BTC, ETH, PAXG - gold, GIGAHDX) with 1 click, after which the protocol will automagically borrow Hollar, which it will use to create a looped, yielding position on a separate subaccount. From this account, it will extract yield, which will be used to buy more of the collateral asset and add it to the original position. The best part is still coming :). Since the whole process, once deposited, is executed and managed by the protocol, in case of a big market dump, you will not get liquidated! Even if the position is underwater on paper, there's no risk of toxic debt for the protocol, because you can't run away with the money - instead, your yielding leg will unwind and repay as much as needed. All by itself. Everything you have to do is press deposit or withdraw. You can also watch your BTC or gold earn real yield for the first time ever :).
Why is this a game changer for us, and for crypto as a whole? It combines the dumbest, simplest 1-click UX with sources of revenue outside of crypto (RWAs), massively increases demand for Hollar loans (the most profitable use case in crypto), massively increases volumes on our exchanges, and creates much-needed buy pressure on crypto assets.

FLASHBACK: This was one of the first posts I saw about COVID-19 on 𝕏.
An anon account was able to make the connection just days after the original Hubei outbreak.
@Mojo70721@alice_und_bob This is not true... Could be easily open sourced and I be they would faster with all sorts of people using their AI agents to help build things
This is very true considering what used to be major devs are not ripping on it.... Unfortunately, the refuse to build in public which doesn't help at all. Things could be open sourced and then anybody could help build it. But they would rather keep things private until the last minute which is a major reason why they have choose to go this route.
The Polkadot Products Devnet is live.
Devnet is a public environment where developers can build and test against @Polkadot's new product stack. Real tools and workflows without real money. Breaking things is the point.
The same stack that 900 people used at @Web3summit is now open to developers globally, anywhere, anytime. Paying, chatting, and proving their humanity without knowing it was running on a blockchain.
