You might be surprised by how much your home knows about you. Your TV. Your car. Your smartwatch. Even your kids' devices.

Everyday technology can reveal more about your life than you realise.

Take our interactive Your Day in Data experience to see what this could look like in a household like yours.

The path to Web3 has always run through privacy and security. Now it runs through people too: who's real, who you trust, and how communities decide together.

[Web3 Summit @Web3summit]

Building a web3 community around privacy, freedom and data sovereignty creates so many amazing memories.

[Web3 Summit @Web3summit]

Everyone - guests, speakers, devs, DJs, web3 curious enthusiasts made Web3 Summit unforgettable

We were overwhelmed by all your vibes and love this year.

Relive some of our highlights👇

Thank you for asking the hard questions about digital identity, user priivacy, ownership of data and freedom.

Afterparty vibes.

An empty online account tells you nothing. It could be a person, a bot, or an AI.

On The Fight for the Future of AI, Nick Srnicek explained why that matters: once you can prove there's a real person behind an account, decisions like bike lanes, playgrounds, and how to spend community money can move online.

Proving you're human is the first step.

[Web3 Summit @Web3summit]

Plenty of events at Berlin Blockchain Week talked about Web3.

At Web3 Summit, around 900 people used it: building apps on Playground . dot, paying for food and drinks with the @Polkadot app, and playing Jollity - a quick game with strangers that proves you're a real person without revealing who you are.

We asked people what Web3 Summit should bring back next year.

The answer was pretty unanimous:

More.

More talks. More tech. More art. More places to build, connect and recharge. More of that contageous and chaotic Burning Man spirit.

We heard you loud and clear.

[Web3 Summit @Web3summit]

They pointed you in the right direction. Answered every question. Kept the vibe going.

And somehow seemed to be everywhere at once.

To every Web3 Summit volunteer who gave us their time, patience and energy: thank you.

Funkhaus wouldn't have been the same without you.

Web3 belongs in the mainstream.

@BillLaboon joined Good Morning Britain @GMB yesterday to discuss our latest research on privacy, data, and the everyday internet.

This is the work we love! We take the ideas behind Web3 beyond our industry and into the conversations shaping how people think about the future of the web.

[Web3 Summit @Web3summit]

The bars were busy. The food stalls had queues. People were hungry, thirsty and mostly interested in getting on with their day.

Payments happened in the background.

No lecture on decentralized tech required.

Sometimes the best sign that technology works is that nobody stops to think about it.

[Josh Dávila @allmodelsRwrong]

the discourse around ai and the left has been weird and confusing so i was on @culturejourno to talk about it

i think there are three questions to ask yourself to know where you might stand in the landscape

- is ai dangerous
- is ai "magical"?
- is ai in a financial bubble?

Tiny robots. Lasers. No one in charge.

So Kanno's Lasermice spent the summit communicating through pulses of light, reacting to their neighbors until the swarm began to sync on its own.

A decentralized network you could watch scurry around the floor.

[Web3 Summit @Web3summit]

You saw the talks, the performances and the people on stage.

Behind you, someone was watching the sound levels. Above you, someone had spent hours getting the lights right. Before you arrived, every mic, screen and projector had been checked (and checked again).

A shoutout to the tech crew who made sure the spotlight stayed on everyone else.

[Web3 Summit @Web3summit]

You got two days of digital freedom, decentralized tech and a lot of very different experiences to enjoy.

But do you know what it took to make all of that happen?

A lot of cables. A lot of boxes. A decent amount of pizza.

And enough coffee to keep an entire volunteer crew moving through Funkhaus.

Some infrastructure is more decentralized than others.

[Web3 Summit @Web3summit]

A lot of thought went into the Web3 Summit merch.

Every detail was designed to feel like it belonged, from the artwork to the things you'd actually want to take home with you.

Judging by how quickly some of it disappeared, you liked it too.

We might need to make more next year.
