@NUCLRGOLF@SchefflerFans Clearly better courses in the US have soft fairways vs European courses...no disrespect, it's just the way. I totally agree with him that you shouldn't be penalized for hitting in the fairway. Guess that means hitting lower shots which isn't everyone's game.
@Top100Rick Sadly (?) already basically done it. Drove 12 hours, raining sideways in sheets, ~50F. Crazy yes. But money was spent and well, it was an adventure for sure. Of course I like walking on the beach during a rainstorm so there's that....
@LouStagner This is fundamental to how the hdcp system works - higher hdcp gets strokes on harder holes. Your analysis with a small subset (Arccos) of total data might show a small advantage. You've never demonstrated Arccos data (likely less than 1% of total) is an accurate predictor.
@Top100Rick The rules unfairly bite you WAAAAY more than they benefit you. His drops were legit. Everyone should know the rules and maybe they can help sometime as well.
@Ken880733215306@historyrock_ Great take on Peart. I've always thought as a drummer, his lines were too complex - his job is too keep the rhythm. But viewed as a percussionist, spot on.
@LouStagner From Arccos website: Strokes gained allows for the comparison of every shot taken during a round of golf with a benchmark. At Arccos we use a scratch golfer (0 handicap) as our benchmark. I assume this means break even. True?
@4golfonline Yes, out of context. HOWEVER, it's pretty much guaranteed this player is taking too much time throughout her round. Doing this would never even occur to a fast/considerate player. These "little" time wasters add up to A LOT of extra time.
@MikeLupica It's hard t see "greatness" when so much bias and chicken$hit behavior (can you say fake slide?) have been the MO. At least 5 critical games were decided this way. Never a clean game when it was against a contending team.
@RPatrickAllen Well Pat, if you look at the data in critical times during the game, there's no doubt there is favoritism. It would be completely relevant to coach your team to keep level heads under such a situation so as not to make it worse.
@BernieSanders Companies "encourage" employees to donate directly so Bernie and his kind can make these statements. Unless the $$ comes from folks outside the industry, he (and others) have been bought.
@jasonwhitlock It's not about perfection it's about bias. Why does one team clearly get the calls their way at critical times? There's too much evidence of this not to take notice.
@LouStagner@Mig_Dig Why new clubs after 3.5 years? You're about setting expectations. My clubs are much older....what should I expect with new clubs? I know Mfrs have decreased loft to get distance (their 7, my 5). I'm a 10, what should I expect?
@LouStagner While I agree it's unfair, there's a big difference between clubs who maintain the course and those who don't. If you don't like how the course is maintained, don't play it. FYI, your chances of getting into a recently created divot are that of a hole in 1.
