The frontline that is, where we'll share what we’re seeing from an internal perspective. We should warn you though, this could get uncomfortable. Because nobody wants to know there aren’t enough staff in the ER to treat emergencies. Or that your nurse is on her 23rd hour...
An ER expansion is good news. But one of the prevailing issues throughout the pandemic was staffing for ER beds. More space doesn't do a lot of good without the folks to staff them.
Congratulations to the fraternal people of Lithuania on Independence Day! We’re deeply grateful for large-scale assistance & support in the war with the invader provided by 🇱🇹, President @GitanasNauseda & all 🇱🇹 people. Your holiday is our holiday! Our victory is your victory!
32 years ago, 🇱🇹 made a historical step - restored its independence! Lithuanians, as no one else know the price of freedom. So now, while being a free European state, 🇱🇹 continue genuinely helping 🇺🇦 in every way to fight against 🇷🇺 occupants. Thank you 🇱🇹 for your precious help!
@Todd_Friesen We have a 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime. It’s a plug-in hybrid. We love it. For day-to-day city driving in -10 or warmer it essentially functions as an all-electric car. The benefit is an internal combustion engine so you never have to worry about range-anxiety or cold weather driving.
Anxious thoughts have been with the people of Lithuania as this is our son’s birth country.🇱🇹 Excellent and insightful interview by the Prime Minister on the situation in Ukraine. 🇺🇦 🙏 https://t.co/0nMWLcv5Tw
As the Russian invasion of Ukraine unfolds, we stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine. We also stand with Winnipeg’s Ukrainian-Canadian community and all those who are horrified by this brutal act of war in Europe.
We in Lithuania know it very well that Ukraine is fighting not just for Ukraine, but for us in the region, Europe and everyone in the democratic world. It is our obligation not just to punish Russia for its actions but to help Ukraine with all and every means available. Now.
This story documents another terrible impact of COVID-19 on Manitobans.
As COVID admissions continue to strain hospitals, patients (often elderly) are being transferred to hospitals hundreds of kilometres away to free up beds.
You can help by slowing down the spread of COVID.
Manitoba will move to yellow restrictions as of February 15 at 12:01 am
Capacity limits will be eliminated in venues such as restaurants, licensed premises, entertainment venues, indoor and outdoor sporting events and casinos, as well as gatherings at private residences.
Premier Heather Stefanson and Dr. Brent Roussin will give a public health order update tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m.
New public health orders just came into effect on Tuesday, run to Feb. 22.
Perhaps more loosening coming beforehand.
⏰Today is VAX-A-THON day!
