This week’s collection, Cooking as a Chore: Women’s Labour, highlights women at different stages of preparing food for their families in the rural countryside. It draws attention to the labour involved, and the double burden women shoulder alongside their participation in the workforce — unpaid and invisibilised.

@fasagristudies is happy to announce the launch of two new research projects, funded by @cgiarspia in collaboration with @MonashUni. These projects explore CGIAR-related innovations, their adoption, and impact in India.

The inaugural event was held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Bangalore Centre. Inaugurated by Prof. B. S. Daya Sagar and chaired by Prof. @MadhuraFAS, the event featured expert discussions on agricultural innovations and project objectives. The participants provided constructive feedback to the team.
