Britain has become a country in which if you work hard and play by the rules you get crushed.

If you take contracts from Tory and Labour governments to dump illegal migrants onto small villages you become a billionaire.

That’s what Graham King of Clearsprings has done.

What I saw in Piddington yesterday was harrowing.

Mothers are taking self defence classes with their daughters.

Because Burnham is dumping 1,250 unvetted illegal migrant men onto a village of 350 people.

Clearsprings holds the Asylum Accommodation Contract for southern England and Wales, giving him the right to bid for the contract to run the site.

I have written to him warning him that if he does so, and should any harm come to local residents, Graham King can expect to be held criminally liable for his actions.

The days of gilded elites enriching themselves at the misery of hard working British people will soon be over.

The government is refusing to release data on the full scale of crimes committed by migrants between 2018 - 2024.

The Ministry of ‘Justice’ said it would be too expensive to collect the data, and that the release of such data would breach the privacy of migrants who have committed crimes.

Never mind the rights of victims and their families (like Rhiannon Whyte who was murdered by a Sudanese man, Wayne Broadhurst who was murdered by an Afghan, or the 14 year old girl who was assaulted by an Ethiopian in Epping, or Fiona Goddard and Sammy Woodhouse who are victims of Pakistani grooming gangs, just to name a few) who have suffered entirely preventable tragedies.

It was inevitable that the Pakistani/Kashmiri biradari kinship networks would morph into Mafia-style crime families, and that has been the case for some time.

What is shocking is the amount of time it has taken to recognise that these organised crime groups are multi-faceted enterprises and, where they have been involved in child sexual exploitation (grooming), this has been only one of their activities, facilitated (and often cross subsidised) by the other activities (such as the heroin trade, money laundering and other semi-legal front activities).

Until the grooming gangs are recognised for what they are - highly-organised, multi-faceted criminal enterprises, organised on the lines of the Mafia crime families, with powerful, transnational elements - very little progress will be made in shutting them down.

They cannot be treated in the same way as ordinary street criminals. We need to take a holistic approach, setting up dedicated "gang-buster" task forces, on the lines of those developed in Italy and in the United States, to get a grip with this menace.

Firstly, though, we need to recognise the seriousness of this problem, and the way the gangs have infiltrated local politics and public administration (including the legal system and police), to the extent that they are largely immune from normal law enforcement measures.
