If Democrats are serious about winning the midterms they need to hire a seasoned spokesperson to hold daily press conferences. They need to challenge the lies and misinformation that the White House spits out every single day.
I asked Senate Republicans who among them thought Trump’s slush fund was a good idea. None replied and silence filled the chamber.
I then offered Republicans a chance to shut it down by voting for my amendment.
They chose not to. They are simply too scared of crossing this corrupt president.
Today @SecMullinDHS yet again tried to defend ICE’s lawless deportation dragnet by asserting that they are going after the “worst of the worst.”
Nobody is fooled by this flat-out lie.
In fact, ICE has been violating their own policy for a year by arresting people at immigration court.
But Secretary Mullin didn’t even know that.
DHS does not get to make up their own laws and it’s time Sec. Mullin learns what they are and follows them.
@RepDonBacon@mccaffreyr3 Trump hasn't much, if any, interest in doing it right. For some reason, he's always been solicitous of Putin (recall Helsinki) and dismissive--or worse---of Zelinsky. Do not forget that Trump praised Putin effusively when Russia invaded Ukraine.
Mr Witkoff has gone to Moscow eight times to negotiate peace… zero times to Ukraine. Most Americans know this is not right. Don’t pretend to be neutral when the facts are obvious. Can we get someone serious in the position to do this right?
"At the moment, the United States is negotiating with a regime that President Trump claimed we had already changed, to open a strait that was supposed to be open last month, and to end a nuclear program that we said we had obliterated."
So no, things are not going well: https://t.co/N1whNpkzAw
"The question Graham posed will linger: “It makes one wonder why the war started to begin with.” The war started because Trump is foolish, reckless & hubristic, and those who could check him—like Sens. Wicker, Cruz & Graham—have utterly failed to do so."

Donald Trump ran for office for three reasons:
1) stay out of jail
2) exact revenge on his enemies
3) line his pockets
Everything else he says is bullshit.
As this war stumbles to a close, it is clear that the president is lost: He didn’t know what he was doing when he began it, and now he doesn’t know how to get out of it.

The American-led negotiations in Ukraine prolonged the war by encouraging Putin. The Russians dangled ludicrous business"deals" in front of Witkoff and Kushner who were too gullible to understand that they were being manipulated. Good the US has abandoned this failed policy
You could start by walking down the hall. See why your boss keeps pardoning people convicted of money laundering, wire fraud, tax evasion, and securities fraud.
