@ChrisONeill__ @highmileage This. Also the design was modern and is still nice to look at. The Mk4 Golf is IMO the last gen with a timeless designs. Same with Audi. Not that today's VAGs aren't good cars, but there is a clear shift in the philosophy between 'a car that needs to sell' vs 'a car people want'

@Russelljwallis I find it amazing that the conclusion to upping size and power are electronic assistants, while drivers become more careless and unaware of their surroundings without adding responsibility. I bet the average driver causes more damages with dings and swipes than crashes.
