@zacbowden Isn’t this because of RAM and SSD price increases? The PS5 and even Raspberry Pi just announced big price increases. Other manufacturers are going to follow with price increases.

@bdsams My 18-year-old had the same Acer Chromebook thru 4 years of high school. The darn thing survived and still had decent battery life after 4 years! I was surprised that it still had OK perf and battery. They were also surprisingly repairable-the schools have a class to repair them
