A story in corporate incompetence:

- @BehrPaint sold us paint for our baby's nursery.
- Upon painting, the smell got increasingly rancid, turns out the paint was contaminated with bacteria
- Behr customer service told us to cover it with Kilz Restoration Primer.
- Over a week later, the room smells like chemicals.
- We now have to paint a *sixth* ‼️ coat (so far: 2 coats spoiled paint, 2 coats primer, 1 coat of unspoiled paint)
Apparently Kilz is a water-based primer, which will *not* seal off bacteria.

There is no way I can put a baby in this room right now. I've painted enough rooms to know this is not normal.

In true corporate fashion, Behr's priority was recommending their own products rather than actually solving the problem.

I think Behr should be covering the damages (plus liners, rollers, trays) because this is so unacceptable and stressful at 32 weeks pregnant.

JUST IN—FULL ACQUITTAL: Both of my clients ACQUITTED this morning in State v. Murray / Brown (case no. 2023-MM-6485) after a bench trial held last week. In 2023 the Florida legislature passed an unconstitutional law against “hate speech & anti-semitism” (HB 269), also known as the Public Nuisances Bill.
In an act of pure viewpoint discrimination, the defendants were arrested by FDLE & charged under the law for illegally protesting. They were targeted based on the content of their speech, despite the fact that the First Amendment protects all viewpoints, whether offensive or innocuous.
Due to the facially overbroad & unconstitutional way the law was drafted, the Judge agreed with our arguments & acquitted our clients.
Now that the criminal case is over, I will be filing a federal civil lawsuit under Section 1983 for First Amendment viewpoint discrimination & to have the law permanently enjoined. ✔️

Perhaps the dumbest argument coming from people who call themselves conservatives is that groceries would suddenly be cheaper if we pulled out of Iran. No, they would not. Your grocery bill is not an itemized invoice from Ukraine, Israel, or Iran.

Groceries are expensive because the enormous inflationary surge under Biden permanently raised the price level. In June 2022, grocery prices were rising at 12.2 percent annually, the largest increase since 1979. Everybody wants to like pretend that didn’t happen. Today, grocery inflation is down to 2.7 %. The previous increases don’t magically disappear. Ending a war does not reverse four years of accumulated inflation under Biden (source: Bureau of Labor Statistics)

Trump can reduce regulatory, energy, transportation, and production costs, improve supply conditions, and prevent another inflationary explosion. And by the way, he’s done all of that already. But returning the entire country to 2020 prices would require deflation which generally means a severe recession or government price controls, which conservatives used to understand were disastrous.

Some of the people making this argument who are conservatives are not stupid.

Which means they’re probably being malicious.
