@LoganMarin19 We can also see that when creating a sandwich, all sandwiches are oriented horizontally, whereas the hotdog is oriented vertically. People do not eat a hotdog horizontally like a normal sandwich.

@LoganMarin19 A hotdog is not classified as a sandwich. Sandwiches are defined as "two or more slices of bread having a filling in between" as stated by the Merriam-Webster Dictionary. Hotdogs are made from a single bun that is connected, hence denies the definition from Merriam-Webster.
