Crime Intelligence boss, General Dumisani Khumalo, received a phone from an IDAC official yesterday who ordered him to hand himself over at Brooklyn Police Station today at 3pm. General Khumalo was also advised to bring a bag as he was going spend the night behind the bars.
Today, just before 3pm, as Khumalo was driving to the police station, as he was instructed, he received another phone call from another IDAC official who told him that an executive decision was taken and that he doesn’t need to hand himself to the police today.

In an about turn, IDAC says Lt.Gen Dumisane and Maj.Gen Nozipho Madondo have NOT been arrested.

IDAC ordered the two Crime Intellegence cops to report to the Brooklyn Police Station in Pretoria this afternoon after claiming they have warrants of arrests. They were told to bring “overnight bags.”

However, IDAC did not come to the station saying they were told by a “senior” not to execute the arrests.

KZN top cop, Lt.Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi also reported to the station after he was told to also report.

He told @eNCA “the war is on.”

CANADIAN TOURIST KILLED IN APPARENT ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING IN KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

A 69-year-old Canadian tourist was fatally wounded during a bush braai at a concession-operated picnic site near Phabeni Gate in the Kruger National Park last night.

According to preliminary information, a private guide attached to the concession operator allegedly accidentally discharged a firearm, resulting in the guest’s death.

The victim was part of a group visiting the park for a bush braai hosted by a private concession operating under a valid permit.

@SANParks has extended its condolences to the victim’s family and confirmed that the South African Police Service is investigating the incident.
