Before you upload that viral 1980s photo, ask yourself one simple question:
Where is my photo going?
Do you know who will keep it, how long they’ll keep it, or what they can use it for?
Your face is personal data. A photo can be used for fake accounts, impersonation or scams.
So, have some fun with the trend, but check the app before you upload. And never share photos showing your CNIC, passport, documents or other personal details.

ROBLOX, Snapchat,TikTok, Instagram and Facebook should immediately be banned for children in Pakistan. Schools should seek legal advice and guidance to ensure this. Phones should be allowed only when there is a genuine need, and that too without cameras. Simple old-school phones should be preferred.
Moreover, there should be no complete social media privacy for children. They keep asking why parents check on them, their messages or emails. But now it is important to keep an eye on them.
Talk to your children. Build their confidence. Know what they are watching and who they are talking to. Be there for them instead of giving them gadgets just to keep yourself free.
