I've discussed with people more knowledgeable than myself & there are at least 4 schools in our division alone that will face the axe when the moratorium ends - Holland, Bruxelles, Baldur and Crystal City. Might take a few years but it'll happen. Towns will die with the school.

What a mess. Looks exactly like what the Conservatives are attempting to do to education in Manitoba. I'm heartened to see changes reversed in PEI but it won't take long for irreversible damage in Manitoba. You won't get your school (community) back after it closes.
