@rorysutherland Completely agree. Always thought it very short-sighted. Company may be great, product might be perfect but if the mode of delivery is poor (or non-existent), I’m unlikely to reorder
@paullewismoney@premierinn#firstworldproblem I use @premierinn regularly when working. By the time I get back from “a day’s work” it’s eat, shower and sleep. How dirty can you make a room in a night ? Do you really need clean towels every night ? And make your own bed, it’s good discipline in the morning
@Gedpower Grew up in the island and come back every year to see my mum with the kids. Every single person I’ve ever taken to the sound has asked exactly that question
@RupaHuq Hilarious reaction from the right. Of course she should resign but shame on you you dont’t say that about your own when they make racist and inflammatory comments
@sheilavale@RomeenSheth Agree 💯. Spent six weeks travelling off the beaten track in India - so many had phones but so few had basic sanitation, no public health, infrastructure non existent in many places. Odd sequencing of ‘development’. There’s profit for someone in tech but for no one in toilets
@IkeNamura @joehudsonsmall That ignores the social impact that businesses should have but is largely ignored. Change will come when more organisations see there is a direct correlation between ESG performance and returns. It’ll take time but it will happen.
