Maybe we should make sure our conversations and interactions with them feel warm and comfortable and humble and safe like a grandmother’s living room.

And we are called to give them rest. We are called to give them comfort. Maybe we can’t solve their problems. And maybe we shouldn’t try.  Maybe we should just be a rest area for them. Maybe we should offer our version of “diddly squats” to provide a moment of delight for them.
