Not just Mario but also DK, Kirby, Spyro, Crash, etc. I don't really see Mario as the one true gold standard absolutely must play 3D platformer. I treat most 3D platformers that way because I think most of them are just fun, I don't need Mario for that

As someone who doesn't play competitively tho, the only way I want a new Smash Bros is if it has a bigger roster and a single player mode on par with Subspace Emissary. If not, meh, I can do without. 🤷

@ARayvar58047 @TheNCSmaster Personally I feel like DK Bonanza fills the 3D Mario void quite nicely for now, and I think the new 3D Kirby will do the same. I also low-key don't care if we get a new Smash Bros because outdoing Ultimate is a near impossible task. 🤷

@welltree_bonsai @ProfNoctis It depends on which game comes out first tbh. I'd imagine people would want *something* to tide them over while they wait for GTA 6, and if OoT is here first, boom. Plus the Switch 2 is a cheaper console than any version of the PS5, especially a PS5 Pro.

@WhackCalZone @Otter10The @The__Goomba As someone who only occasionally dabbles in GTA games (I do play them sometimes but they're not among my favorite games), personally I would definitely buy OoT or really any new Zelda game before I buy GTA6 or any GTA game. I may be in the minority here but I just love Zelda 😂

@durian_critical I don't condone the misogyny but Tiffany seems to be playing dumb or is just completely oblivious to the fact that Joe had no shot at winning. He won comps sure, but the jury didn't respect him. Tiffany on the other hand actually had a legit shot of winning if she made it to FTC.
