@DLaneBreckenri1@RominaBoccia Taxes have to be raised, but let’s spend the revenue on young people. Seniors, especially middle-class and above can take a hit. Maybe no cola, raise the retirement age, means test benefits for wealthier seniors.
@MarcGoldwein@AARP They’re not a serious organization. They are a union and they are advocating for their members. They want all costs to fall on non-members (young folks). They just don’t have the balls to say it out loud.
@CatoInstitute@RominaBoccia It only add to the debt if we don’t cut benefits. Allow benefits to fall 25 percent when the trust fund runs out and there’s no deficit.
@fwrenzo1 Because the student loan is guaranteed by the federal government. Students are free to get regular consumer loans if they have the credit. Then they can default on those if they want.
@OrevaZSN Can’t most people work 32 hour weeks now if that’s what they want? Probably won’t advance very far in the organization, but it’s there if they want it.
@DrDiGiorgio Yoou don’t have to accept Medicare patients, correct? At what point does the burden of Medicare lead to fewer providers accepting patients?
@BBKogan The Democrats could have restored those rates under Obama or Biden…such a missed opportunity. I hope all Dem 2028 candidates run on returning all rates back to the Clinton era rates.
