Anthropic just cut Claude sub on third-party tools like OpenClaw to push users toward their own Cowork + Dispatch.
but OpenClaw is still clear of Cowork + Dispatch. here's why:
> Cowork = AI agent inside Claude Desktop. reads your files, runs code, uses MCP plugins. all local.
> Dispatch = remote control for Cowork from your phone. send a task, come back later, work's done.
but in practice:
→ Cowork only runs Claude. OpenClaw runs any model, Claude, GPT, Gemma, Ollama, whatever you want.
→ Dispatch only works through the Claude mobile app. OpenClaw connects to Telegram, Discord, Signal, WhatsApp, IRC, you choose.
→ Cowork = one session. OpenClaw runs dozens of agents simultaneously with cron jobs, heartbeats, and automation.
→ Dispatch has no plugin ecosystem. OpenClaw has ClawHub with community-built skills you can install in seconds.
→ both need your computer on. neither is cloud. but only one locks you into a single provider.
Anthropic's play is obvious: kill third-party access, funnel everyone into their walled garden.
but it's too early. Cowork + Dispatch still has real catching up to do. single model, single app, single session. that's not where builders live.
OpenClaw is open. multi-model. multi-channel. multi-agent.
We’re excited to launch a completely new way to see prediction markets.
Today we’re rolling out a complete trading stack for prediction markets, from visualization to execution. This unlocks a fundamentally different way to see how money positions before odds move.
Here’s what that looks like in real time: a large sell wall appears in the Portugal Presidential Election market hours before the odds moved down sharply.
