Der römische Archtitekt Vitruv hat mal die Prinzipien "Ästhetik, Funktion und Stabilität" entwickelt. Aber irgendwie kam man im 20. Jahrhundert auf die grandiose Idee, dass das ja alles scheiße sei und man hat auf Hässlichkeit, Unfunktionalität und Instabilität gesetzt.

Btw., rich people often tip a lot more than poor people.

Polunytsya: might origin from polit/palit: to burn (compare to Czech "pálit", greek "pyros" - fire)
Police comes from the Greek word polis. Pyros - polis > just accidentally sml

The Problem with Plattenbauten is that they are trash articles, Wegwerfprodukte, die nicht länger als 60 Jahre halten dürften. And now we have to renovate them much more often than stabiles, europäisches Mauerwerk because we can't just throw the families out that live there.

@giulio_mattioli If you mean by the Spaltung der Gesellschaft that it's because the houses are no Plattenbauten, you pay in Tschechien teilweise more for a Wohnung in a Plattenbau than for eine in an Altbauvilla and the Plattenbau is even more awfully klimatisiert.

@chribreuer Not that hard, actually. I just accept that some languages use more cases and use it then. But the missing cases are only vocative, locazive and instrumentalis, it's not like Finnish or Chechen (coming from German)

@RadioDresden Das ist ja alles komplett hässlich. Das will wahrscheinlich kein Mensch in Dresden. Ansonsten dachte ich auch, Dresden sei Elbflorenz, und nicht Elb-Autobahnkreuz
