Curious how you decide when a small side-bet has earned more focus vs. when it's time to publicly kill it. I just deprioritized my most-downloaded app today for exactly that reason the founder-fit was off.

PitchBird is my app with the most downloads (5–8/day) and it made me my first-ever dollar as an indie dev.

I just deprioritized it.

Reason: I'm the target user and I don't like my own singing enough to keep using it. If the founder isn't the customer, the marketing will always feel like acting.

Rule I'm keeping: if I can't be the loudest fan, someone else should build it.
